Moving Day 11:30 AM: Crating “The Queen”
Moses arrived on time… as you’d expect. His truck is the size of an Ark. But I mixing my biblical references so I’ll stop there.

My life for "The Queen!"
The house is half empty already. I’m tired just from watching.
Another truck showed up minutes ago and two guys named Mike and Bill hopped out, opened the back door to their truck and voila! Instant wood shop! They’re building wooden crates for our artwork. Amazing.
Not sure if you knew this, but my father-in-law is a world class artist. He paints museum quality portraits. You may remember the photo of me sitting on my couch underneath a painting of my wife. That’s a portrait James Crowley painted as a wedding gift to us. I affectionately call it “The Queen.” It’s Anna in her wedding dress (we married in Italy in March 2006 right after I finished covering the Winter Olympics in Torino).
So Mike and Bill are crating “The Queen” as we speak. Lord help them if something goes wrong!
Off with their heads!
But not until that truck is loaded… MR
I just had time to look at your father-in-law’s website. He is an amazing artist! I certainly hope the portrait of Anna made it without damage. :-)
